Podiatry vs Foot Health?A Registered Foot Health Practitioner is able to carry out routine foot care treatments, such as cutting and filing toenails and fingernails, corns and callus, preventing and treating fungal nail infections and carrying out general check-ups on feet. They can also help individuals with diabetes - assessing their feet for any changes in condition. A Podiatrist specialises in the study, diagnosis and treatment of long term foot, ankle and lower leg conditions - using orthotics to aim to prevent and correct deformities of the feet and lower legs. At Knaresborough Podiatry and Treatment Rooms, our team of experts is made up of both Podiatrists and Foot Health Practitioners.
