Hi, I'm Sarah (owner of Sarah Chisem Podiatry Ltd). I have worked in the healthcare sector for over 20 years; Initially qualifying as a Foot Health Practitioner in 2002, I later completed a Podiatry degree and, in 2010, graduated from the University of Huddersfield with a BSc(hons) Podiatry.

As a member of the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and the Royal College of Podiatrists, I maintain a continual professional development - regularly reviewing my treatment modalities to ensure I offer the gold standard of care to our patients. I continue to invest in my studies (regularly attending CPD lectures & workshops) and equipment - introducing low-level laser therapy (LLLP) to the clinic in 2022, ensuring we have cutting edge technology to help treat a wide range of acute and chronic foot conditions such as osteoarthritis of the knee and foot, plantar fasciopathy (heel pain), Achilles tendon problems and more.

Working with custom orthotics, I perform nail surgery and provide rehabilitation and lifestyle advice help improve the conditions being treated. I am annotated to the POMS (Prescription Only Medication) register, and have a licence to administer local anaesthetics for nail surgery and verruca needling.

In my spare time, when I'm not in my clinic, my great passions in life are acting, running and paddle boarding; I love meeting new people and problem solving.
